The 2L Saloon entry list was swollen with the welcome addition of ex F2 star name Dean McCrory and the former Pro Stock British Champion Adam White. White capitalised on his white roof starting slot to take the honours in both the heats and the meeting final. It was Ryan Wright who come home next in the trophy race with the current Irish Champion Anthony McIvor third.

Clive Wilson was the runaway victor of the Group 2 Lighting Rod heat before Rasharkin’s Jason Darragh cranked up the pace to take a well-earned win in the final, George Elser was the runner up with Ricky Peoples third.

A healthy showing of Stock Rods was in action as it draws closer to their World Championship which will be staged at Nutts Corner next month. Former Junior Rod drivers Matthew Milliken and Shea Duff shared the heat wins before local man Joseph Largy stormed to victory in the final, the earlier heat winner Duff put in another strong performance to grab second spot ahead of Raymond Harper in third.

Completing the busy race programme was the Street Rod’s. Ballymena’s Daniel Taylor enjoyed a fine win in the heat event before Richard Nicholl found form to get his hands on the final silverware. Nicholl was followed across the line by Warrant Thompson and Taylor.
