Gavin Fegan got his evening of to a fine start in the Brisca F2 Stock Cars when he toured clear of the field to take a win in the opening heat. Thomas McCrory showed promise in his debut meeting, surviving late pressure to scoop heat two. Come the King of NuttsCorner Final Shea Fegan cruised to the front early on allowing him to set the pace all the way to the flag, he was closely followed by his father Graham in second who crossed the line ahead of Ryan McCrory.
In the Saloon Stock Cars veteran Armagh racer Stuart McCammon capitalised from his yellow grade starting slot to take the heat won win before Kieran McIvor got his hand on the flag in heat two. After lively early exchanges in the King of NuttsCorner final Matthew Stirling found his way to the front. Stilring went on to take the honours ahead of Anthony McIvor and McCammon.
Star name Curtis Greer was the first to taste success in the 1300 Stock Cars, winning the opening heat. From there Jack Bell dominated the remainder of proceedings chalking up wins in the second heat and King of NuttsCorner Final. Joining Bell on the final podium was Gary Freeburn and Graham Meek who has recently joined the ranks after a spell in Superstox.
The Ministox grid was inflated with visiting interest including David Philp Jnr, Kyle Rogerson, Oliver Heron and Kevin Graham. The heat one honours went the way of local star Leyton Hughes before K Rogerson chalked up the win in heat two flying the flag for Scotland. D Philp Jnr kept his best to last; romping clear of the opposition to take the King of NuttsCorner Final in style, next to finish was Rogerson and Heron making it an all Scottish podium.
Lauren Berry showed strong pace in the Junior Rod section, Lauren a former Junior Production driver stormed to victory in heat one, which happened to be her first ever race at NuttsCorner. Berry had to settle for second in heat two with Codi Wilson taking the chequers. Berry was again on form in the final taking the win ahead of Mya Hill and Karly Stewart, in what was an all female podium!
Andy McLeister blitzed his opposition in the Stock Rod taking a fine hat trick of wins. Jason Darragh give a strong account of himself in the final securing second place with the British and Irish Open Champion William Donnell third.
Another on dominating form was Steven Elder in the GP2 Lightning Rods. Elder performed a flawless brace of victories including glory in the King of NuttsCorner. Next across the line in the feature race was Ricky Peoples and Jamie Burney.
