It was the final meeting prior to the World Final for both the Brisca F2 Stock Cars and ORCi Stock Rods, where the drivers were keen to capitalise on the track time as they finalised their preparations.

Aidan McFerran and Jack Morrow shared the F2 Heat wins before Kilrea’s Thomas Greer went the distance to take a fine win in the meeting final. Greer was followed across the line by Gavin and Graham Fegan.

Padraig Hannigan chalked up the win in the opening Stock Rod heat before former World Champion Jack Morrow took the heat 2 spoils. Greg McMullan proved to be the pace setter in the meeting final where he stormed clear to take the honours ahead of the visiting Sean Naismith and Morrow.

Matthew Stirling performed a hat trick of wins the in the 2L Saloon Stock Cars, current Irish Champion Ryan Wright was runner up in the first encounter, while Stuart McCammon followed Stirling home in the next 2.

Casey Lee was unbeaten in the Micro F2’s; while the Junior Rod races served 3 different winners in the form of Alex Walker and Ryan Abernethy Jnr in the heats and Codi Wilson in the meeting final. Next home in the final was Daniel Stewart and Mya Hill.

It was day for sharing in the GP2 Lightning Rods with George Esler and James Paisley recording a heat win apiece. They took sharing to a new level in the final, when the pair battled all the way to end crossing the line side by side. The Stewards reviewed the finish finally declaring the race result as a dead heat.
