Day number two of the weekend, and the Saloons were again on Championship duties, this time it was the Irish Masters up for grabs.

The same race format as Saturday was used with three heats on the agenda.
Kai Gilmore again took the opening win of the afternoon before England’s Joey Reynolds and Scotland’s Stuart Shevill shared the remaining qualifying heat wins.

Shevill continued to show good pace in the title decider where he took charge of many restarts to take the win ahead of Ross Watters and Matthew Stirling.
The final race of the weekend was the Stephen Boyd Memorial, Jack Grandon looked as though he was certain for victory. Grandon, the long time leader got tangled with a back marker on the final turn; this allowed Stirling through to take the chequered flag ahead of Allard and Anthony McIvor.

The Irish Masters was up for grabs for the ORCi Stock Rods also. Derek Conner takes victory in heat one before the Irish Champion William Donnell chalked up a win in the second heat. Callum Hosie proofed to be man of the weekend when he cruised to victory in the Irish Masters title decider. Joining Hosie on the podium was Morrow and Shea Duff.

Chris Hamill continued in his winning ways from Saturday evening taking the Iron Man Final win, Hamill fought of stiff pressure early on from Matthew Milliken to get his hands on the silverware. Completing the podium steps was Ivan Elliot and Steven Bolton. Later in the afternoon Ryan Stewart was winner of the revenge race while Ty Richardson picked up a win in the heat race.

Also on the race card was the Brisca F2 Stock Cars, GP2 Lightning Rods and Micro F2’s.

Jack Morrow was the pace setter again in the F2 Stock Cars, where he completed the meeting and indeed weekend undefeated, making it six race wins on the trot! Freddie Fleck and Jake Carson were the Group 2 Lighting Rod heat winners with Stewart Nicholl scoring glory in the Final. The visiting drivers enjoyed another successful day of results in the Micro F2’s with Lana Middler and Cruz Strachan both making visits to victory lane.
