Sunday afternoon’s meeting was in memory of the talented Jack Morrow, who was taken too soon just over one year ago.
Daniel Stewart started the day with an impressive victory in the opening Brisca F2 heat. Heat two went the way of Gavin Fegan who is on a fine run of success in 2025.
The young gun Stewart managed to hold off the assult from the more experienced names to take the silverware in the final, Antrim’s Ryan McCrory made it through to second with Fegan third this time around.
In the 1300 Stock Cars Matt Milliken was on blistering pace, storming through the field to take a very impressive heat one victory. Former Superstox driver Graham Meek continues to find his feet in the 1300’s, a well calculated heat two win highlights his continuing threat to the more established names. Come the final the very rapid Milliken was again the victor, taking the flag ahead of Curtis McConkey and Craig Bodenham.
Matthew McKinstry and Jack Kennedy recorded a heat win apiece in the ORCi Stock Rods before Larne’s multi champion William Donnell blitzed the opposition the take the memorial final in style. Former world champion Samuel Montgomery was the runner up with the earlier heat winner Kennedy third.
Asan Dinnin followed up on his Final win last time out to take the opening GP2 Lighting Rod win of the day. From there David Nesbitt commanded the rest of proceedings taking wins in heat two and the meeting final.
Kyle Anderson was again among the pace setters in the Micro F2 class, chalking up a double heat victory before Kurtis Peoples pulled of a smashing drive to make a visit to victory lane in the final.
Harry Martin was unstoppable in the ORC Minis taking all three wins. In the non contact Junior Rods Codi Wilson and Charlie Hill were heat winners before Noah Teggart too an emotional victory in the Jack Morrow Memorial Final, this time around Ballymena’s David Gillespie was the runner up with Charlie Hill third.
